One-bedroom apartment

"Clive's apartment was a great find for us during the busy Christmas period. Just outside of Newcastle town centre and right next to Ouseburn for music, food and drinks. Private parking was available too which is a bonus for the busy area. The apartment itself was warm and charming, the kitchen was well equipped. The sofa and TV area were comfortable and the internet reliable. Bedroom was cosy with plenty of storage space. As we were there over New Years we did get to enjoy the fireworks over the quayside from the balcony which were amazing."

"Very well maintained pad to hang out in for two nights. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Great to open windows and enjoy river views/fresh air/sunshine. The views from Free Trade Inn are openly acknowledged to be the best and this is a stone's throw away. Ouseburn has great vibe. We used the bus to go to town and other parts of the city we needed to visit, but it is also an easy walk along to the quayside for atmosphere (but without the noise of staying there). Parked our car in the carpark and left it there. Shout out for lovely greet from local Brenda! Would definitely return."

"Such a great apartment in a fantastic location, you can sit on the big red sofa and watch the Tyne go by without having to strain your neck. Gorgeous views day and night down to the Millennium bridge too. Ouseburn is fab, quiet when you want to sleep but lots to see and some lovely, local independent eateries, bars and pubs. Good transport links. The apartment has everything you need, good kitchen, awesome power shower, comfy and peaceful bedroom, parking, books I want to stay for a week to read. It's a really comfortable base."

"Excellent base for a few days in Newcastle. Striking views of the city, easy to walk into the city centre via the Quayside and with the social/cultural scene of the Ouseburn Valley on your doorstep. Very easy to get to the coast from there as well. The Free Trade Inn, famous locally for having the best views you can get of the river and the bridges, is literally just around the corner. The flat is comfortable, well equipped, kept extremely clean and is very private and quiet. Clear comms from Clive and a friendly welcome from Brenda who tends to the flat for him. I felt completely at home and settled in after just two nights. I appreciated being able to use the private car park as well. All in all, highly recommended - a bit like having the best suite in a nice hotel but much better value!"

"Good location overlooking the river at Ouseburn. Close to some excellent pubs, breweries and restaurants. 25 minute walk along the river to Quayside and Grey Street with great eateries and pubs. Uber taxi costs about £8 from the centre at Monument. Flat is secure, comfortable, well specced, quiet and clean. Clive is a great host and communicates all you need to know well in advance, it’s very easy to get to and you get met and shown in. Recommended."

"Was using Clive’s flat as a base for working in Yorkshire and Northumberland for a week, and with the frequent busses to Newcastle station and trains to nearby towns it worked out really well, and I really enjoyed coming ‘home’ to to the cosy flat as it felt peaceful and uncluttered, even had space for me to do my daily Yoga! Lovely riverside walk right there into town with fab views of Newcastle bridges and gorgeous old pub called ‘Free Trade’ nearby. Excellent kitchen and everything you need - highly recommend!"

"Great apartment. Very clean and well maintained, plenty of space too. Check in and out was straightforward. Brenda who was there to meet us with the key was helpful and very friendly. Location is perfect, at the side of the river and it’s roughly 15 minute work down in to the centre. There are a couple of nice pubs close by too. We enjoyed a drink at the free trade pub, sitting overlooking the river. I highly recommend the apartment to anyone and if we are in Newcastle again I would definitely stay here."

"Great location, easy and pleasant walk into town along the river, or if you didn't want to walk, Ubers are super cheap! Comfortable and really clean. Was a bonus having free parking right near the flat too. Can't really go wrong here, glad we chose this over a hotel as we felt comfortable straight away, especially with the detailed, really helpful information pack and Clive's quick responses! Would suggest to anyone looking to go during current times to thoroughly plan your trip away, booking every place you want to go to as most were fully booked and weren't allowing walk ins. "The apartment was in a brilliant area to explore Ouseburn and easy to get into central Newcastle. Views of The Tyne, towards The Millennium Bridge were fabulous. We were met by Brenda and shown how to access garage/apartment. The apartment was spotless, everything you needed was available. Great it had 2 showers/toilets and 2 double bedrooms. We had a fantastic weekend ..thank you Clive for letting us stay 🤗"

"Couldn’t have picked a better spot for my Mum and Grandad to stay. Beautiful view of the Tyne towards Millenium and Tyne bridge - gorgeous at sunset. Perfect location to quayside, into town or Ouseburn area. The place itself is carefully thought out with lots of quirky details. Clive’s apartment is clean and fully facilitated. "This is lovely spacious flat with stunning views over the Tyne (especially at night) was great for a week’s stay in Newcastle visiting our daughter. A 20 minute pleasant walk along the riverside gets you into the city centre and to the restaurants we visited during our stay. The flat is spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds are comfortable. Secure parking was a bonus although parking on the street was free and available. WiFi was brilliant and the desk area was much appreciated as my husband had to do some work while we were there. Key pick up and drop of was easy and communication with Clive was excellent. We would certainly stay here again if visiting Newcastle"

"An excellent base for a city break in Newcastle. We enjoyed waking up to an amazing view of the River Tyne and relaxing in the landscape in the evenings. Central location is a benefit - there is a short walk to town, easy access to amenities. Can get Uber if needed. Bedrooms are comfortable and have all you need, Bathrooms are stylish and have great showers. Clive was helpful regards booking and Brenda on hand and knowledgable for local support following a warm greeting on arrival. Would highly recommend!"

Met on arrival we were shown the ropes and how to use the secure underground parking. All the appliances were spotless and the facilities very new. "We really enjoyed our time at Clive’s property. The apartment was immaculate, the view of the city was incredible. Brenda was very welcoming on arrival and helped ensure we had everything we needed when checking in. The bed was very comfortable, we had all that we could possibly want. Location was perfect, a 20 minute walk from the chaos of the city centre so nice and quiet in the evening but within short walking distance of the centre. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if looking to enjoy the city!"

"One of the best air BnB stays we have had. The apartment was very cool, very high spec and spacious (the pictures don’t do it justice!) the open plan kitchen, dining living space are perfect and you can tell lots of thought has gone into making the apartment work so well. The best feature for me however, are the amazing views you have of the Tyne, bridges and all of Newcastle, and how close you are to the bars and restaurants on the quayside. We were gutted to leave and would love to come back and stay. again. 11/10 stay."
